Theatre Managers In The Russian Far East And Manchzuria In The End Of The Xix – Beginning Of The Xx Centuries

Special role of the theatre in the process of cultural developing of the Russian Far East is examined. The author comes to conclusion that development of the theatre in the Russian Far East was going on in the context of all – Russian problems of theatrical business, but at the same time it had a number of peculiarities such as private theatrical enterprise which was widely used. The sources and conditions of company forming, the foundation of any theatrical business are analysed. The author, analyzing and comparing the Far East entrepreneurs work, says that a theatrical manager becomes a key figure in the development of theatre business in the Russian Far East and Manchzuria in the end of the XIX – beginning of the XX centuries.
